This album is an anthology including the best of the two original Country Comfort album plus material from the late lead singer Billy Kaui's 1978 solo album. Randy Lorenzo, who also played with the Gabby Band and Peter Moon, cut his musical teeth with Country Comfort. Highlights include "We Are the Children, "Hello Waimanalo," "Mr. Reggae," "Mama," "Pretty Girl" and the Hawaiian Renaissance anthem "Waimanalo Blues."

Country Comfort's first album, produced by the legendary Cyrus Faryar, a.k.a. "Cy Fi" of MFQ and Whiskeyhill Singers fame. Country Comfort made Billy Kaui a star. Tragically his star burned out when he died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1978 and also launched the career of Randy Lorenzo, a respected solo artist and sideman who is still going strong. Highlights include "Sunlight, Moonlight," "Railway Station," and the band's signature song "Waimanalo Blues."
