7 Simple Pieces has taken off in generating their version of music with a message. Blessed with several members who have the gift of writing and composing original material, has allowed the band to make its mark in the music scene in the islands. Their original tunes gave them an opportunity to participate in a Battle of the Bands competition, which they won in Honolulu in 2002. The band continued their progress and continued to have an awesome year in 2003 as well. They opened for several national acts that headlined in Hawaii and also took part in a music compilation project that gave out 80,000 CDs as part of the Jesus Hawaii project to students in the state of Hawaii from junior high to those in college. The year 2004 looks to be as promising a year as the previous ones. Kicking off the year with a successful mini tour to the West Coast and the added excitement of their much-anticipated CD, 7SP is primed and ready to take it to the next level and ready to breakout on the national scene in 2004 as well.
